I have wanted a medium format camera for a while now...I found a Yashika 635 twin lens reflex at a camera show in Pasadena (http://www.bargaincamerashows.com/). The show was like heaven, hundreds of old cameras for display and sale and discussion and tables covered in expired film for a buck each.
So the Yashika 635 is an interesting camera, unique b/c it is actually a dual format camera, meaning it takes medium format film as well as 35mm (with use of an adapter). It sports a big bright viewfinder and its design flies in the face of any modern day attention to ergonomics. It's a beautiful machine:

One quark with this cam is that the shutter release isnt mechanically paired to the film advance knob, so you have to be really mindful of whether or not you advanced the film before firing the next shot. Still getting a hang of it...
