Winter '16 in B&W

One roll of 35mm HP5. Travelled with me to a couple places...

Back to Battery Spencer one last time...
While taking photos there, a man approached Em and I and informed us that he was about to propose to his girlfriend. He asked us to photograph and video the event. He was nervous, and his hands shook as he passed over two phones, and pulled a ring out of his sunglasses case. We followed him over to his girlfriend and he got on one knee and did the deed. It was classic, she needed to catch her breath, began crying, said yes, and he then picked her up in her arms. We got it all on tape, returned the phones and gave congratulations. The new groom then pulled out his wallet and whipped out a crisp 100 dollar bill for our services. Good karma for the marriage, awesome!
After we parted ways we watched him pull a bottle of champagne out of his backpack and pop it. They drank while Facetiming family, all smiles...

Ski Time

Was using my sister's Olympus Stylus Epic Zoom 35mm cam for these pictures. It takes good shots if the conditions are right, but unfortunately it cant get the action shots I was going for. I'll excuse it though cause we were shredding pretty fast ;)
